How much does the Toyota Sienna cost in today's market?

Used Toyota Sienna prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Toyota Sienna's current nationwide average price is $41,292 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $38,918 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the Toyota Sienna is a strong choice if you want a family-focused minivan with space, versatility, and efficiency at the centre of its appeal. The all-generations owner rating is 4.5/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise its roomy cabin, comfortable seating, and cargo flexibility, and many also highlight its fuel efficiency and family-friendly practicality. The main compromises across recent expert-tested years are the Sienna's unexciting driving character, the cabin materials, and safety scores that are stronger in some years than others.

30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Toyota Sienna models reliable?

Owners consistently praise the Toyota Sienna for its reliability, spaciousness, and family-friendly usefulness. Expert reviews also reinforce its reputation as a practical, dependable minivan with strong everyday versatility and long-term appeal.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is generally shaped more by model-year condition and maintenance history than by the Sienna nameplate itself.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: According to Natural Resources Canada, an AWD Sienna should consume 6.8 litres per 100 kilometres combined. Testing day was extremely hot and humid, putting the van’s available four-zone automatic climate control system into overdrive. That undoubtedly contributed to a result of 7.6 L/100 km on our fuel-efficiency driving loop and 8.8 L/100 km on the mountainous evaluation route.

Which Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna offers these trims:

• LE: The entry trim brings the hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, keyless entry, push-button start, and plenty of USB ports.
• XLE: This trim adds the 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, making it the best-value choice for shoppers who want a more upscale tech experience without moving to the top end of the range.
• XSE: This trim adds a sportier look and can be paired with the available XSE Technology Package, while also offering e-AWD.
• Limited: This trim adds standard e-AWD, a more premium equipment set, and access to the available Platinum Package, which brings the onboard vacuum and FridgeBox refrigerated box.

What Toyota Sienna do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Sienna years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because they give you more inventory to compare, which can help you find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to attract the most attention from used buyers because they balance newer features with broader availability.

What is the Toyota Sienna's resale value?

Most Toyota Sienna model years in the table are down year over year, which can create better opportunities for used shoppers. The newer model years are also declining, but by smaller amounts than many older ones, so recent inventory may still command stronger prices while offering more up-to-date features.

The 2025, 2022, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
