Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Subaru's EyeSight suite of advanced safety features, including frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and lane centring assist, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, automatic emergency steering, emergency stop assist, haptic steering wheel alerts, a driver attention monitor, adaptive headlights, and automatic high beams.

What Subaru Outback do most buyers choose?

The Subaru Outback years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they offer a broad mix of availability, newer features, and pricing that still sits below the newest model years. More listings also give you more choice, which can make it easier to find the right trim and condition.

What is the Subaru Outback's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which creates better buying opportunities for used shoppers. The largest drops are concentrated in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples have moved less sharply. That pattern gives you room to shop for value across a wide spread of model years.

The 2014 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2014, 2016, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
