• SV: This is the entry point and brings the new powertrain, standard AWD, the dual 12.3-inch display setup, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system, 64-colour ambient lighting, ProPILOT Assist 1.1, a 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Transparent Hood View.
• Platinum: This top trim adds a head-up display, 21-inch wheels, and the most upscale presentation in the lineup.

What Nissan Murano do most buyers choose?

The Nissan Murano years with the most listings are 2020, 2018, and 2019.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a broad mix of price, equipment, and availability. That usually gives you more choice when comparing trims, mileage, and deal quality.

What is the Nissan Murano's resale value?

Most Murano model years are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want more value for your money. The newer models are also showing smaller declines than many older ones, which suggests stronger pricing at the top of the range. Overall, the table points to a market where buyers can find meaningful savings across much of the lineup.

The 2024, 2022, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

• 2025: 8/10

Like the outgoing Murano, the fourth-gen model comes standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of advanced driver assistance features.

Should I buy a used Nissan Murano now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −12.7% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −5.1%.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 33.3% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2020 model has the most listings at a current average price of $22,562 CAD. The Nissan Murano offers a comfortable ride and a premium-leaning cabin that make it easy to live with every day.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The new Murano gets a new powertrain: a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine — known as VC-Turbo, referring to Nissan’s variable compression ratio system — paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
• Tech: Wireless charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all standard, and every new Murano also features a monolith-style display that pairs two 12.3-inch screens in a single housing.
• Safety: The fourth-gen model comes standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of advanced driver assistance features, and it also adds Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist.
• Starting price: The 2025 Nissan Murano SV starts at $49,631 CAD in Canada.

If you're buying used today, the 2020 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
