The 2023 Genesis GV60 is the first electric vehicle from the Hyundai Motor Group’s luxury brand, and it is sensational.

Tesla has long dominated the electric vehicle market, but Hyundai Motor Group is poised to seriously threaten that position. Through its three brands—Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia—Hyundai is embarking on an aggressive EV push during the middle part of this decade, rolling out new electric cars across a range of prices, sizes, and purposes. The new 2023 Genesis GV60 is the first one from Hyundai’s luxury brand, and after spending a week with this compact crossover SUV, we think the future looks bright for the Korean automaker. It might even steal some of Tesla’s luster along the way.

A pleasure to drive. Comfortable seats that grip your body around turns. This car is fast. Tons of luxury settings to boot.

many major and fun features. very sporty and luxurious interior. but not a good value if priced at/over $70k. very short battery range, mostly not available in Northern CA. I’ve been on buyer list since last june, as dealers do not have stock.

Very nice interior and exterior design. Excellent materials on interior. All the advance features in its class. Only downside is the relatively low mileage per charge.
