Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist Package, with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver monitoring system.
• Infotainment: 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM satellite radio hookup.

Which Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer offers these trims:

• LT: The entry trim uses the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and it suits you if you want the most accessible way into the lineup. It also gets the 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available wireless charging.
• True North: This trim adds a more feature-rich setup than LT, and it suits you if you want a stronger equipment mix without moving all the way to the top of the range. It can also be paired with available navigation and the Bose audio system through a package.
• RS: This is the best-value trim if you want the Blazer’s sportiest presentation, with the 8-inch display, built-in navigation, Bose audio system, and available wireless charging. It also pairs well with the V6 for buyers who want stronger performance.
• Premier: This trim brings the most upscale feel in the lineup, with the 8-inch display, built-in navigation, Bose audio system, and available wireless charging. It suits you if you want the most polished version of the Blazer’s cabin and tech.

What Chevrolet Blazer do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Blazer years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2022.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because they give you more inventory to compare, which can help you find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to attract more attention from used buyers because they balance newer features with broader availability.

What is the Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

Most Chevrolet Blazer model years are posting double-digit price drops, which creates better opportunities for used buyers. The newer model years are still declining, but at a smaller pace than some of the older ones. That pattern suggests you can find meaningful value across much of the lineup, especially if you are flexible on model year and trim.

The 2025, 2022, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Chevrolet Blazer safe?

• 2023: 7/10
• 2022: 7/10
• 2021: 7/10

Chevy Safety Assist Package includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver monitoring system.

For the safest used buy, the 2021, 2022 and 2023 models all post the highest confirmed score of 7/10.

Should I buy a used Chevrolet Blazer now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −5.24% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −11.14%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 26.7% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 27.6%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $31,374 CAD. The Chevrolet Blazer offers a distinctive style and a roomy, well-packaged cabin that make it easy to live with.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The latest model pairs a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the available 3.6-litre V6 delivers 308 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque.
• Tech: The latest model adds a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, and an 8-inch display on RS and Premier trims.
• Safety: The latest model adds adaptive cruise control across all trim levels and expands availability for blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, a 360-degree camera system, rear camera mirror, and a Safety Alert vibrating driver seat.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
