What Volkswagen Tiguan do most buyers choose?

The Volkswagen Tiguan years with the most listings are 2025, 2023, and 2024.

Higher-volume model years tend to draw more shoppers because they offer more inventory to compare, more pricing spread, and more chances to find the right trim and condition. They also usually sit close to the sweet spot between newer features and used-car value.

What is the Volkswagen Tiguan's resale value?

Most Tiguan model years are down by double digits year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want stronger value. The newer years show some of the steepest drops, while the oldest examples in the table have fallen by smaller amounts. That pattern gives you a broad range of choices across the lineup, with plenty of room to find a well-priced example.

The 2025, 2014, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
