What Toyota Tundra Hybrid do most buyers choose?
The Toyota Tundra Hybrid years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 138 | 26.1% |
| 2025 | 117 | 26.5% |
| 2023 | 104 | 26.9% |
| 2026 | 73 | 26% |
| 2022 | 60 | 26.7% |
These higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also usually make it easier to spot a well-priced listing quickly.
What is the Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | $67,475 CAD | −15.28% |
| 2023 | $60,850 CAD | −13.89% |
| 2025 | $76,026 CAD | −10.93% |
| 2022 | $57,856 CAD | −10.76% |
The table shows broad downward movement across the model years listed, which can work in your favour if you're shopping used. The largest price changes are in the double digits, so recent buyers may find more room to negotiate than they would in a steadier market. The spread also suggests that newer examples are adjusting in price while still commanding higher absolute values.
The 2022, 2025, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
Should I buy a used Toyota Tundra Hybrid now or wait for the next model?
Buy now if:
- Price trend: The 2025 model is at −10.93% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −15.28%.
- Deal availability: The 2025 model has 26.5% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 26.1%.
- Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $67,475 CAD.
If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.

As a second-time Toyota Tundra owner upgrading from the 2017 model, the 2024 Tundra i-Force MAX feels like a major step forward in both power and refinement. The twin-turbo hybrid V6 delivers noticeably stronger acceleration and towing performance while running quieter and smoother than the old V8. Inside, the transformation is even more striking—the cabin now feels modern and upscale, with a massive touchscreen, advanced driver-assist features, and a more comfortable, well-appointed interior. While fuel economy still isn’t class-leading, the added efficiency of the hybrid system is a welcome improvement. Overall, this upgrade feels like moving from rugged reliability to refined capability—maintaining Toyota’s toughness while adding the technology, comfort, and design the older generation lacked.

Previous Tundra owner, traded in my 2011 Platinum. Has more features than anticipated, love the Hybrid system, great gas mileage super comfortable ride with the air suspension. A lot of power and torque with the V6 Twin Turbo plus Hybrid. It leaves you stuck to the seat, wow! Love the truck, at a great price too!

Plenty of power with I-Force Max, the build quality and materials, standard equipment and options are superior to comparable truck/trims from other manufacturers.
