What should I look for when buying a used Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centring assist, road sign assist, and high beam assist.
• Infotainment: An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus SiriusXM and connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy ranges from 5.0 to 5.5 litres per 100 kilometres in combined city and highway driving, depending on the trim level and drivetrain configuration.

Which Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Camry offers these trims:

• SE FWD: The entry point in the lineup, with an available SE Upgrade FWD package for shoppers who want more equipment while staying with front-wheel drive.
• SE Upgrade AWD: Adds all-wheel drive and can be paired with the Nightshade package, making it the best-value choice for buyers who want extra traction and a more distinctive look.
• XLE AWD: A more upscale trim that sits above the SE versions and suits buyers who want a more premium Camry experience.
• XSE AWD: The top trim in the lineup, aimed at shoppers who want the most feature-rich and sporty-feeling version.

What Toyota Camry do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Camry years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

Higher-volume model years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a wider selection of listings and more chances to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to be the years buyers cross-shop most often when looking for a newer Camry with strong equipment and broad availability.

What is the Toyota Camry's resale value?

Most Camry model years are down year over year, and several recent ones have seen fairly sharp declines. That pattern is good news for used buyers because it creates more room to shop for value, especially in newer model years. A few older years are holding steadier, and one is even up slightly, which shows that the Camry’s strongest examples can still command solid demand.

The 2014, 2016, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
