Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: automatic emergency brake assist, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, park assist, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound.
• Infotainment: a freestanding 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 11.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada fuel-economy ratings for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C300 are 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres in city driving, 7.1 on the highway, and 8.6 combined.

Which Mercedes-Benz C-Class trim should I buy?

• Mercedes-AMG C43: the performance-focused choice, with a more powerful turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, quicker acceleration, and the most dynamic character in the 2022 lineup.

What Mercedes-Benz C-Class do most buyers choose?

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2019.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right colour, mileage, and equipment mix. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer technology and more accessible pricing.

What is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The largest drops are concentrated in newer examples, while a few older years have fallen more modestly and one year has moved up. That mix suggests there are still opportunities to find value, especially if you are flexible on model year and equipment.

The 2021, 2018, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −18.75% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −28.13%.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 46.7% good and great deals.

Consider waiting if:

• Safety: Standard safety features include automatic emergency brake assist, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, park assist, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound.
• Starting price: Pricing starts at $56,700 CAD for a Mercedes-Benz C 300 4Matic sedan.
