(15 reviews)I bought the car as my first car in 2001 for £900 with the intention of driving it till it broke and then getting something a little fancier................... 7 years later its still going! I painted it a couple of years after I got it and it looked good for about 3 months until an unfortunate servicing accident with a wall the everyone started driving into it so I gave up trying to make it look nice and now it looks a bit sad with peeling and faded paint. Performance it much better that you would expect, the litte 1.3 engine has quite a bit of grunt and has a nice sound to it too even with the "pea shooter" exhaust on it. I have surprised many a boy racer with bigger engines and performance cars out of the lights with it! It just refuses to die, other than normal service parts the only thing that has ever gone wrong with it was the electronic ignition voltage regulator in the distributor gave up one night on the motorway. Got a new one and has been sweet ever since. Im not gentle with cars the way I see it is the red line is there to be driven to but the manic Mazda takes everything I throw at it. I would recommend these cars to anyone who wants a car that drives well, wont die and is very spacious for its size (once had 2 washing machines in the back). Great 1st car.
If you rather not own a vespa scooter to go to the market this is the next best thing. It is rather light but takes the distance for low maintenance and getting around town. The cabin is spacious and the bootspace is roomy. The engine is very quiet and for manual transmission 1.2 litres it was speedy and easy.
all round good car. Really Cheap on Petrol. Makes a good family car. Car parts are reasonable cheap. Dont spend much money on keeping the oil up to it. Fun and simple to drive, Quiet smooth. Makes a great first car.
It's a bomb; manual steering manual windows rear door wont open carbie exhaust rattles when its cold heater doesn't work Performance: close to none Appearance: It's a bubble car so no Cost: Very good, quite efficient Fun Factor: Very good if it was a paddock basher
1.3 Ltr engine, Nice small shape (like a jelly bean) interior was good and easy to clean.
