What should I look for when buying a used Lincoln Aviator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 with forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of the BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system.
• Infotainment: Lincoln Digital Experience with a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: Buyers shouldn't expect good fuel economy from any version as the Aviator is rated by Natural Resources Canada at 13.8 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.5 on the highway, and 11.9 combined.

Which Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator offers these trims:

• Premiere: The entry trim brings the Aviator’s core luxury feel, and it suits you if you want the most accessible way into the model’s quiet cabin and premium road manners.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim, adding real leather upholstery, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, a head-up display, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, and larger 21-inch wheels.

What Lincoln Aviator do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Aviator years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2021.

Those higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you have more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right colour, trim, and equipment mix. They also tend to attract more attention from used buyers because they sit in a sweet spot between newer features and more approachable pricing.

What is the Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The table shows broad double-digit price declines across every model year listed, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The steepest drops are concentrated in the older and mid-cycle years, while the newest examples have also moved down meaningfully from their earlier prices. Overall, the pattern favours buyers looking for value rather than sellers hoping for strong retention.

The 2024, 2025, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
