• Safety package: Adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and high beam assist on the Sport S and standard on the Rubicon X.

What Jeep Wrangler do most buyers choose?

The Jeep Wrangler years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2023.

Higher-listing years tend to attract more shoppers because they give you more choice in trims, colours, and prices. They also usually make it easier to compare condition and find a Wrangler that fits your budget.

What is the Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used. The declines are double-digit in nearly every case, so recent Wrangler prices have moved lower rather than staying flat.

The 2015, 2022, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Jeep Wrangler safe?

• 2026: 3/10
• 2025: 4/10
• 2024: 5/10
• 2023: 6/10
• 2022: 2/10

For the safest used buy, the 2023 model posts the highest confirmed score of 6/10.

Should I buy a used Jeep Wrangler now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $45,304 CAD. The Jeep Wrangler offers a distinctive open-air, highly customisable character that few SUVs can match.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The latest Wrangler offers a 3.6-litre V6, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo, and a 6.4-litre Hemi V8, and the four-cylinder returns 11.0 litres per 100 kilometres combined.
• Tech: The latest Wrangler includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety: The latest Wrangler adds adaptive cruise control on the Sport S, while blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and high beam assist become standard on the Rubicon X.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
