• Safety package: Active Drive Assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

Which Jeep Grand Cherokee trim should I buy?

The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers these trims:

• Laredo: The entry trim keeps the Pentastar 3.6-litre V6, eight-speed automatic transmission, and standard four-wheel drive, making it the most accessible way into the lineup.
• Laredo X: This trim also uses the Pentastar 3.6-litre V6 and eight-speed automatic, and it suits buyers who want the same core setup with a bit more equipment.
• Altitude: This trim adds leatherette upholstery and keeps the standard four-wheel-drive setup, giving you a more upscale feel without moving too far up the range.
• Limited: This trim builds on the lineup with more equipment and is a strong value choice for shoppers who want a better-balanced mix of comfort and features.
• 85th Anniversary: This trim adds a more distinctive appearance and upgraded cabin materials, appealing to buyers who want a special-edition feel.
• Limited Reserve: This trim brings genuine leather upholstery and a more premium cabin, making it a compelling step-up choice.
• Summit: The top trim adds the 12.3-inch touchscreen, 19-speaker McIntosh audio, front-passenger touchscreen, height-adjustable air suspension, and Quadra-Drive II 4WD with a two-speed transfer case for buyers who want the most luxury and capability in the range.

What Jeep Grand Cherokee do most buyers choose?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee years with the most listings are 2022, 2020, and 2021.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also sit in the part of the lineup where the Grand Cherokee’s mix of comfort, capability, and equipment is especially appealing to used shoppers.

What is the Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which creates better opportunities for used buyers. The steepest drops are concentrated in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples have fallen less sharply or even edged up slightly. Overall, the pattern favours shoppers looking for value.

The 2014, 2023, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
