Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing, with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.
• Infotainment: a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a wireless smartphone charger.

Which Honda HR-V trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda HR-V offers these trims:

• LX: The entry trim gives you the HR-V’s core practicality and is the least expensive way into the lineup.
• Sport: This trim adds a 17-inch grey wheel design, Boost Blue paint, and standard AWD, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• EX-L: This trim adds genuine leather with perforated surfaces and Z-pattern stitching, front footwell lighting, silver steering wheel spokes, and the most upscale cabin presentation.

What Honda HR-V do most buyers choose?

The Honda HR-V years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a broader selection of trims, prices, and equipment levels. They also sit close enough to the current model to feel modern while still offering used-car value.

What is the Honda HR-V's resale value?

Most Honda HR-V model years are showing year-over-year price declines, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the older models are falling more slowly. That creates a wide spread of value opportunities across the lineup.

The 2017, 2018, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
