What GMC Sierra 1500 do most buyers choose?

The GMC Sierra 1500 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume model years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for newer features without stepping all the way into the newest model year.

What is the GMC Sierra 1500's resale value?

Every model year in the table is down year over year, and most of the declines are double-digit drops. That pattern favours used buyers, since it points to meaningful savings versus a year ago across the lineup. The smallest declines are still substantial, so even the strongest-retaining years are moving lower.

The 2018, 2023, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
