What should I look for when buying a used Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, and the optional Confidence package with blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.
• Infotainment: an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus an optional wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: the base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated to return 7.8 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 in combined driving; the upgraded turbo engine with AWD should achieve 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer offers these trims:

• LS: the entry point, with the base setup and the Trailblazer's core style and practicality.
• LT: the best-value trim, since it adds the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for a relatively small price increase.
• Activ: adds the more powerful turbo engine with AWD and a more adventurous character.
• RS: the top trim, priced with AWD and positioned as the most upscale-looking choice.

What Chevrolet Trailblazer do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Trailblazer years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume model years tend to draw more shoppers because they give you more choice, easier comparison shopping, and a better chance of finding the colour, trim, and equipment mix you want. They also tend to be the years where pricing and deal availability are easiest to evaluate at a glance.

What is the Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

Prices are down across every model year shown, and the declines are all double-digit. That creates a favourable setup for used buyers, since the market is offering meaningful savings versus a year ago. The smallest drops are still substantial, which suggests values are adjusting broadly rather than moving in a narrow band.

The 2022, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

• 2024: 6/10
• 2023: 9/10
• 2022: 9/10
• 2021: 7/10

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 and 2023 models both post the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Chevrolet Trailblazer now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:
