I have been very satisfied with this truck with the single exception of the fuel economy. OnceI am able to sell it, I intend to get a diesel truck instead. The extra weight capabilities has come in very handy for me.

This 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500hd Is an amazing truck. never left me stranded of coarse like any used car has its minor issues but in all its an awesome truck to have looks nice runs good and does great off-road.

Lots of components are heavy steel which affects mpg due to weight, i think truck should have been leveled like 03-06 1500hds ive seen. Stock exhaust is way to raspy... I Love how it rides and looks despite previous greivance. super performance except i had a bad brake booster and power steering fluid hose which sucked. Built EXTREMELY TOUGH
