New & Used 2026 RAM 3500 for Sale nearKamloops, BC

Is the 2026 RAM 3500 a good car?

The 2026 RAM 3500 stands out as a heavy-duty truck that has moved well beyond its original workhorse roots. Its appeal now comes from the blend of serious capability and everyday comfort, with the latest generation putting a strong emphasis on luxury and technology. It also benefits from a more aerodynamic design, LED lighting, a stronger frame, new suspension, and a new transmission for the Hemi models. For buyers who need a truck that can do real heavy-duty work, its towing and payload figures are a major part of the story: it can tow more than 15,875 kilograms and carry almost 3,600 kilograms of payload.

Inside, the 2026 RAM 3500 is notable for how much it borrows from the Ram 1500 in terms of materials and available amenities. Available features include a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, a 12-inch vertical infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 750-watt Harman Kardon 17-speaker audio system. It also offers a revised instrument cluster, a rotary gear selector for the eight-speed automatic transmission, and a tyre pressure monitoring system that can monitor up to 12 trailer tyres. The truck’s practical side is reinforced by regular, crew, mega, and chassis-cab configurations, long and short bed availability, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and optional dual rear wheels.

There are still trade-offs, though. The 2026 RAM 3500 is described as having gargantuan proportions, which can make it difficult to manage in towns and cities, and its diesel engine is noted as noisy. Even so, it remains appealing because it combines class-leading heavy-duty capability with a level of comfort and technology that makes it feel far less spartan than older versions of the truck.

29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a reasonable amount of market choice if you want one.
