It fits the premium midsize SUV brief well if you want a luxury crossover with a broad powertrain range and a strong technology focus. The GLE also brings premium interior materials and a polished cabin, which help explain its appeal.

The expert review also describes it as a quiet long-distance road tripper, which points to a vehicle that should feel composed in everyday use.

Mercedes includes a four-year/80,000-kilometre warranty with free roadside assistance, which helps soften ownership risk early on. The GLE’s long-term ownership risk is still worth considering for used buyers, especially if you want to avoid higher repair exposure once warranty coverage ends.
