New & Used 2026 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearFort St. John, BC

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator earns a 7.7/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It’s aimed at you if you want a three-row SUV that feels more upscale and relaxing than the Ford Explorer underneath it. The Aviator’s strengths are its smooth ride and cossetting interior, and it also keeps the more potent optional engine from the Explorer, which helps preserve decent towing capability. The trade-offs are clear: it gives up sportiness, handling can feel awkward, and the third row is a weak point. It’s also a pricey version of a Ford Explorer. With 28.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

The Aviator is built around a strong, smooth twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic, and the powertrain stays in the background most of the time. It’s also tuned for comfort rather than strain, which suits the vehicle’s relaxed character. Lincoln’s standard safety and driver-assistance suite is broad, and the brand includes four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Aviator’s luxury focus can make repairs and upkeep more expensive than you might expect from a mainstream-based SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Aviator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premiere gives you synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve adds leather upholstery and more upscale cabin touches. The Reserve is the better value if you want the richer interior experience this SUV is built around.
• Powertrain: Every Aviator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 with 383 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic and standard AWD. It’s strong, smooth, and tuned more for relaxed progress than sharp responses.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen. Wireless charging, a head-up display, and a 14-speaker audio system are standard, and the Reserve adds ambient lighting and a Revel 14-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Aviator at 13.8 L/100 km in the city, 9.5 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.9 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 2 trim levels: Premiere and Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the Aviator’s core luxury feel, synthetic leather upholstery, and the full standard safety and tech suite. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model, but it’s the Reserve that better matches the Aviator’s upscale mission.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim. It adds real leather upholstery, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, a head-up display, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, and larger 21-inch wheels. If you want the Aviator to feel properly premium, this is the one to buy.

Lincoln makes all its safety features standard, so you don’t need to move up the trim ladder to get the full driver-assistance package.
