Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar a good car?

With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, the best read is the market itself: the 2026 Range Rover Velar is trading at an average of $69,169 CAD, which is below last year's $77,837 CAD level. Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 19.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $67,698 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar's resale value?

The current average of $69,169 CAD sits slightly below last year's $77,837 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about resale expectations. If the market stays near today's level, your eventual trade-in or private-sale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your vehicle is equipped.

Should I buy a 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 19.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this price band, the 2026 is the cleanest starting point because current pricing has eased and there are still some deal opportunities in the market. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a well-kept example with similar equipment for less.
