How much does the 2026 Kia Seltos cost?

Is the 2026 Kia Seltos a good car?

The 2026 Kia Seltos stands out as a subcompact crossover that aims to deliver more than its size suggests. It balances practicality and polish with a high-quality cabin, refined driving dynamics, generous passenger and cargo space, intuitive controls, and practical packaging.

It also brings a distinctive personality, with a more rugged look than many rivals and a premium-feeling interior for the price point. If you want a small SUV that feels thoughtfully executed rather than merely basic, the Seltos fits that brief well. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Kia Seltos reliable?

The 2026 Kia Seltos is described as a well-rounded small crossover with a nicely refined chassis, intuitive controls, and practical packaging. Those strengths point to a vehicle that is designed to be easy to live with day to day.

At the same time, the buying guide calls out a noisy cabin, a clunky dual-clutch transmission, and a base engine that feels underpowered. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about living with those compromises than expecting a simple, trouble-free experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Kia Seltos?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you know what you want and are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 442 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,856 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $30,856 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,427 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face more competition if the market stays loose. If you buy well now, you may still have a decent value story later, but the recent decline shows resale strength is not especially firm at the moment.

Should I buy a 2026 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.29% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2026 Kia Seltos makes sense if you want a small crossover with a distinctive look, a polished cabin, and strong everyday practicality. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2026 is the better pick when you want the current-year balance of value and substance.
