New & Used 2026 Honda Passport for Sale nearNorth Bay, ON

How much does the 2026 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 4.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 93 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It is aimed at you if you want an aspirational lifestyle SUV that blends family-friendly practicality with a more adventurous image. The Passport’s spacious interior, cargo capacity, and easy-to-use technology are the main reasons it stands out, and Honda has also made it more capable off-road than before.

The trade-offs are clear: it still lacks key off-road features such as a locking differential and low-range 4WD, and it carries a high price. The market currently shows 32.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Passport is presented as a thoroughly redesigned model, with nearly everything new from the exterior and interior to the engine and trunk. That kind of reset can be appealing if you want the latest version of the vehicle, but it also means you should pay close attention to how the new hardware and packaging hold up over time.

Honda’s performance notes point to a strong, lower-strung V6 and an unobtrusive transmission, which should support a smooth ownership experience. The cost-effectiveness notes also suggest it is well equipped, even if it is not a standout value.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a new-generation model can take time to prove itself fully in real-world ownership.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Passport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Passport is sold in four trim levels: TrailSport, TrailSport Blackout, TrailSport Touring, and TrailSport Touring Blackout. The Touring trims add better leather materials, while the TrailSport model’s cloth and vegan interior was judged more visually appealing. Standard roof rails, 18-inch wheels, and a thin hood scoop appear across the range, but the Touring trims are the ones to focus on if you want the most upscale cabin and the extra camera-based trail view system.
• Powertrain: You get a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 with 285 hp and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel drive system is standard, along with seven drive modes. The Passport is tuned for stronger off-road ability than before, but it still does not have locking differentials or low-range 4WD.
• Safety package: Honda Safety Sense is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control. Eight airbags are also standard.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger. Every trim also gets a 10.2-inch fully digital driver information display, four USB-C charging ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Touring trims add a 12-speaker Bose stereo and the TrailWatch camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport is estimated at 12.6 L/100 km in city driving, 9.9 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Passport is offered in 4 trim levels: TrailSport, TrailSport Blackout, TrailSport Touring, and TrailSport Touring Blackout.

Here's the short version:

• TrailSport: This is the trim to start with if you want the Passport’s core rugged look and capability without stretching too far up the price ladder. It gives you the standard V6, AWD, drive modes, 18-inch wheels, and the Passport’s new off-road-focused hardware, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• TrailSport Blackout: Choose this if you want the TrailSport formula with a darker appearance treatment. It suits you if style matters as much as capability, but it does not appear to add the same equipment upgrades as the Touring trims.
• TrailSport Touring: This is the trim to target if you want the best mix of comfort, tech, and trail usefulness. It adds the 12-speaker Bose stereo and TrailWatch camera system, which makes it the most compelling upgrade for buyers who plan to use the Passport for both family duty and rougher terrain.
• TrailSport Touring Blackout: Pick this if you want the Touring equipment with the blackout appearance treatment. It is the most feature-rich version mentioned here, but it is best for you only if you are willing to pay for the top end of the range.

Honda Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims for the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,526 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $59,526 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,358 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Passport is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. If you are planning to sell later, the current trend means you may not see the same pricing strength that existed previously, especially if supply stays healthy.

Even so, the Passport’s broad appeal as a spacious, practical SUV should help it remain relevant with shoppers who want a two-row model with a more adventurous image. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport safe?

The 2026 Passport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Safety Sense is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control. Eight airbags are also standard.

The previous-generation Passport did not earn a Top Safety Pick from IIHS and managed only four out of five stars in the front-impact and rollover tests from NHTSA. For the 2026 model, you should wait for full crash-test results before treating safety as fully settled.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a much more spacious, tech-friendly, and more capable Passport than before.

Consider the 2027 if:

• TrailSport trims gain upgraded suspension and extra ground clearance.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the redesigned Passport now and can take advantage of softer pricing. If you are price-sensitive, the 2027 may be worth waiting for if the TrailSport upgrades matter more to you than immediate availability.
