New & Used 2026 Honda Passport for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

How much does the 2026 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have softened 4.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 94 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for shoppers who want a spacious, tech-forward two-row SUV. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Honda positions it as a more aspirational lifestyle SUV, and the expert notes back that up with strong cargo space, a spacious interior, and user-friendly technology. It is aimed at you if you want comfort and everyday usability with some added capability, rather than a hardcore off-roader.

The trade-offs are clear: it carries a high price tag and poor fuel economy, and it still lacks key off-road hardware such as a locking differential and low-range 4WD. Even so, 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Passport is described as a redesigned model with nearly everything new, which can be appealing if you want the latest version of the nameplate. Honda’s own positioning and the expert notes both point to a well-rounded SUV with strong usability, and the powertrain is presented as a naturally aspirated V6 that should suit buyers who prefer a simpler, lower-strung setup.

The expert notes also suggest the Passport is built for everyday comfort and capability rather than complexity, which can be a plus for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is that this generation is new enough that you should pay close attention to how the redesigned hardware and electronics have held up over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Passport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TrailSport trim levels are the most rugged-looking versions, while the Touring trims add more luxury and tech. The base setup already includes standard roof rails and 18-inch wheels, but the upper trims are where you get the more premium cabin materials and extra equipment.
• Powertrain: Every Passport uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard i-VTM4 all-wheel drive. Honda says the engine is new for 2026, and the Passport is tuned for stronger off-road and on-road balance, but it still does not have a locking differential or low-range 4WD.
• Safety package: Honda Safety Sense is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control. Eight airbags are also standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB-C ports, and a 10.2-inch digital driver display. Touring trims add a 12-speaker Bose stereo and the TrailWatch camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport is estimated at 12.6 L/100 km in city driving, 9.9 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Passport is offered in 4 trim levels: TrailSport, TrailSport Blackout, TrailSport Touring, and TrailSport Touring Blackout.

Here's the short version:

• TrailSport: This is the trim to start with if you want the Passport’s core rugged look and capability without stretching too far up the range. It gives you the standard V6, AWD, 12.3-inch touchscreen, Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the full Honda Safety Sense suite.
• TrailSport Blackout: Choose this if you want the same TrailSport foundation with a darker appearance treatment. It makes sense if style matters to you, but it is more about visual distinction than a major equipment jump.
• TrailSport Touring: This is the best-value trim if you want the most useful upgrades. It adds the 12-speaker Bose stereo and TrailWatch camera system, which should appeal if you want more convenience and better trail visibility.
• TrailSport Touring Blackout: Pick this if you want the Touring equipment and the darker look together. It is the most feature-rich version, but it is best for you only if you are comfortable paying for the top end of the range.

Honda Safety Sense is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up trims to get the core driver-assistance package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 94 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,189 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $60,189 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,209 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to the year-round high. The Passport’s strong user rating can also help support demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport safe?

The 2026 Passport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Safety Sense is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control. Eight airbags are also standard.

The main caveat is that crash testing for this generation was still pending in the source material, so you should treat the safety picture as promising but not fully validated by independent test results yet. That matters if you want the reassurance of published crash-test scores before you buy.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is a redesigned model year with nearly everything new, including the exterior, interior, engine, and trunk.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Passport with the most up-to-date design, tech, and packaging, the 2026 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may offer better value, but the 2026 is the better fit if you want the redesigned version and can find one priced near the lower end of the range.
