New & Used 2026 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearQualicum Beach, BC

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is a strong fit if you want a family minivan that prioritises comfort, practicality, and easy everyday use over novelty. Honda’s focus on a lighter, more rigid body structure is meant to improve cabin quietness, crash performance, and long-term refinement, and the Odyssey’s standard equipment makes it especially appealing for family buyers who want a well-equipped, familiar layout.

In Canada, even the basic EX-L includes seating for seven, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, a power tailgate, leather seating, CabinTalk, a rear-seat entertainment system, and Magic Slide second-row seats for easier access to the rear. It also includes Honda Sensing with collision-mitigation braking, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot information, cross-traffic alert, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow.

The main trade-offs are clear: it does not offer all-wheel drive or a hybrid version, and some rivals provide more storage versatility. Even so, the 2026 Honda Odyssey remains a compelling choice if you want a roomy, practical minivan with a long-standing reputation for safe, comfortable transportation. 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, well-sorted minivan that leans on Honda’s emphasis on refinement, comfort, and everyday usability. Its lighter, more rigid body structure is intended to support cabin quietness, crash performance, and long-term refinement, which all point to a vehicle designed with durability and family use in mind.

At the same time, the early years of this generation drew complaints for electrical glitches, infotainment issues, and transmission problems, so a careful inspection still matters. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is best managed by checking maintenance records closely and making sure the van drives and operates cleanly before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a standout bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 91 listings available.

That combination suggests you have enough choice to compare condition, equipment, and pricing, but you should still focus on the best-maintained examples rather than rushing into the first one you see.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds useful updates while staying comfortable and practical.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better pick if you want the newer model year and are shopping the current market for a well-equipped family minivan. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a close look because it keeps the Odyssey’s core strengths while offering a lower entry point.
