New & Used 2026 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearComox, BC

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is a strong fit if you want a family minivan that prioritises comfort, practicality, and easy everyday use. It uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and front-wheel drive, and it stays true to the Odyssey formula with a spacious cabin and a sedan-like driving feel.

It is especially appealing if you want family-friendly equipment. You get seating for seven, Magic Slide second-row seats, and Honda Sensing safety technology with collision-mitigation braking, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot information, cross-traffic alert, a multi-angle rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. In Canada, it also includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, a power tailgate, leather seating, CabinTalk, and a rear-seat entertainment system.

There are trade-offs to consider, including the lack of all-wheel drive and a hybrid option, plus some rivals offering more storage versatility. Even so, the Odyssey’s combination of comfort, safety equipment, and family-focused features makes it a compelling choice, and 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2026 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, straightforward minivan that stays close to the formula that has long made it appealing to family buyers. Its focus on comfort, practicality, and easy everyday use supports that reputation, and the cabin equipment is clearly aimed at reducing day-to-day hassle.

You also get a proven-feeling layout with a V6 powertrain and front-wheel drive, rather than a more complex setup. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you are still buying a vehicle without a hybrid or all-wheel-drive alternative, so your needs should match its traditional minivan strengths.

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds useful tech updates while staying comfortable and practical.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the latest version of the Odyssey’s family-first formula and you find a well-priced example. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it keeps the core strengths while potentially offering better value.
