New & Used 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty for Sale nearSaint John, NB

Is the 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

The 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty is a strong choice if you need serious hauling ability without stepping into Ford’s purely commercial trucks. It is aimed at buyers who want a heavy-duty pickup that can handle hard jobs while still feeling modern, and its appeal comes from a beefy frame, heavy-duty powertrains, and a wide trim range that runs from work-focused to luxury-oriented versions.

It also brings a strong mix of capability and technology. Ford says the high-output 6.7-litre Power Stroke turbodiesel produces 1,200 pound-feet of torque, and the truck can tow up to 12,700 kilograms with a conventional hitch in single-rear-wheel form or up to 17,200 kilograms in dual-rear-wheel form with a gooseneck or fifth-wheel hitch. Payload capacity ranges from around 1,400 kilograms to 3,330 kilograms, and it comes standard with a 5G WiFi hotspot, an 8.0-inch infotainment screen, and useful towing and driver-assist features such as onboard scales, trailer-aware surround-view monitoring, trailer navigation, adaptive cruise control with lane centring, and Pro Trailer hitch.

The main trade-offs are familiar for a heavy-duty pickup: it is expensive, and its load-focused design means ride quality is not its strongest suit when the bed is empty. Even so, the market signal is encouraging, with 42.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

The 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty benefits from the Super Duty formula’s long evolution, which gives it the kind of heavy-duty foundation shoppers usually want in a truck built for demanding work. It is designed around a beefy frame, heavy-duty powertrains, and a broad trim range, all of which support its role as a serious towing and hauling tool.

It also leans on a mature setup rather than a brand-new concept, which is helpful if you want a truck that is built around proven heavy-duty priorities. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck this capable is often asked to do hard work, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.
