New & Used 2026 Dodge Durango for Sale near Vermilion Bay, ON

How much does the 2026 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 9.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 428 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Durango earns an expert rating of 6.5/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It suits you best if you want a three-row SUV with old-school analogue controls, strong exterior styling, and plenty of power and practicality. The trade-offs are clear: the interior materials feel dated, modern safety features are lacking, and fuel economy is poor. The Durango’s value case is helped by its pricing, and 28.5% of listings are marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Dodge Durango reliable?

The 2026 Dodge Durango is presented as an older design that has been sold essentially unchanged since 2010, so you should expect a vehicle whose age is part of the ownership equation.

Its performance character is a major part of the appeal, and the expert review notes that the Durango still delivers the power, technology, and practicality many midsize SUV shoppers want. The review also points to its analogue controls and straightforward operation as part of its everyday usability.

The cost-effectiveness commentary says the Durango’s age, body structure, and powertrains may be off-putting to some buyers, even though incentives help support the value proposition. For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is tied more to age and wear than to modern design freshness.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Durango?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Durango’s interior shows its age in the switches, buttons, and cheaper plastics, while upper trims add leather, carbon fibre, and microsuede. The base trims are more basic, so you should pay close attention to cabin finish and equipment if you want a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: In Canada, most trims can now only be ordered with the 3.6-litre V6 for this model year, while the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 was originally available but is no longer listed on the Dodge Canada website as of this writing. The V6 makes 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and the review notes that it feels strained in a vehicle this heavy.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and rear parking sensors are standard on the three base trims. Lane departure warning is standard only on the GT Plus, and the Hellcat Jailbreak needs the Premium Group package for full-speed forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control with stop.
• Infotainment: Every Durango comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5, plus navigation, HD Radio, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, over-the-air updates, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Android Auto is wired.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 is listed at 11.9 L/100 km combined, while the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 is listed at 14.3 L/100 km combined. The 6.2-litre supercharged V8 in the SRT Hellcat Jailbreak is listed at 17.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Durango is offered in 4 trim levels: SXT, GT, GT Plus, Hellcat Jailbreak.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Durango’s core formula at the lowest price. It makes the most sense if you want the styling, standard AWD, and basic safety equipment without stretching for extras.
• GT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more equipment while staying below the GT Plus. It’s the trim to focus on if you want a balanced mix of value and everyday usability.
• GT Plus: This is the better pick if you want more comfort and convenience, plus lane departure warning as standard. It suits you if you want a more complete family SUV without jumping to the top performance model.
• Hellcat Jailbreak: This is the extreme choice for buyers who want maximum performance, the loudest personality, and the most aggressive hardware. It’s not the sensible pick, but it is the one for you if performance is the priority.

For safety equipment, note that lane departure warning is standard only on the GT Plus, and the Hellcat Jailbreak needs the Premium Group package for its fuller driver-assistance set.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 428 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,498 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $58,498 CAD sits slightly below last year's $64,287 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Durango has softened in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you may need to price competitively to stand out. If the model’s age and fuel economy remain concerns for shoppers, resale values could stay under pressure.

Is the 2026 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2026 Dodge Durango earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and rear parking sensors are standard on the three base trims. Lane departure warning is standard only on the GT Plus. To get full-speed forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control with stop on the Hellcat Jailbreak, you’ll need the Premium Group package.

The review also notes that the Durango’s dated body structure means it will not perform as well in a crash as competitors designed around the most recent IIHS crash tests. That’s an important consideration if safety is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2026 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.01% compared with last year.
• It keeps the Durango’s old-school analogue controls and strong performance focus.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $48,035 CAD, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $58,498 CAD average.
• It remains a likable midsize three-row SUV with a roomy, comfortable, and practical interior.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the current-year market and can live with its age-related compromises. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 is the better value play because it costs less and still delivers the Durango’s core strengths.
