Used 2025 Toyota Tacoma for Sale near Pontypool, ON

How much does the 2025 Toyota Tacoma cost?

Prices have softened 14.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 341 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tacoma a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner approval. The 2025 Tacoma stands out as part of a major redesign with a totally new frame, a remade interior, and new engines, while also adding a hybrid drivetrain for the first time. In Canada, it comes with a standard 8.0-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a strong set of standard safety features, which makes it appealing if you want a modern midsize truck with everyday usability and trail-ready capability. 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tacoma reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Tacoma’s appeal is tied to Toyota’s reputation for durability, and this model year builds on that with a new platform, updated hardware, and a more modern cabin. It also keeps the truck’s rugged identity while improving road manners and off-road behaviour, which should help it age well in regular use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that these trucks are still very new, so you should pay close attention to condition, service history, and any early-production issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Tacoma?

It’s a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 341 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,132 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Tacoma's resale value?

The current average of $58,132 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,045 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you may have less depreciation pressure than buyers who paid closer to the previous average. The Tacoma’s broad appeal and updated design should still support demand, especially for well-equipped examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Tacoma or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,769 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $58,132 CAD average.
• It offers a ground-up redesign with a newer foundation and a more modern powertrain.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and are focused on current-market availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it delivers the redesign at a lower average price.
