How much does the 2025 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 14.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 257 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Camry earns a 4.9/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, exceptional fuel economy, and spacious interior. They also value its strong overall value compared with rising used-car prices.

On the expert side, the Camry’s new hybrid-only setup, up-to-date styling, and strong value proposition stand out. The main trade-offs are a noisy engine and a finicky voice assistant.

For you, that means this is a smart fit if you want an efficient, family-friendly midsize sedan that stays familiar and easy to live with. 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels smooth, efficient, and easy to count on over time. The expert assessment also reinforces that dependability theme, describing the Camry as a familiar, low-drama choice with no fatal flaws that would likely push loyal buyers away.

Toyota’s hybrid system is designed to work in the background, and the car’s reputation for reliability and safety is a major part of its appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about major mechanical drama and more about living with a few everyday annoyances, like the noisy engine and voice-assistant quirks.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels and a mix of cloth and SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, while SE Upgrade and XLE trims move to black 18-inch wheels. XSE adds 19-inch wheels, sporty exterior touches, and available two-tone paint. If you want the most upscale cabin, the XLE and XSE bring perforated leather seats.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Camry is hybrid-only. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive versions make 232 horsepower and use an electronic AWD system that adds traction with a minimal impact on fuel economy.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, along with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. XLE and XSE add front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two-phone Bluetooth connectivity, a wireless charging pad, and five USB ports. Higher trims upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, while XLE and XSE add a 10-inch head-up display and a nine-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates 4.9 L/100 km combined for the front-wheel-drive version, 5.1 L/100 km combined for AWD models with 18-inch wheels, and 5.3 L/100 km combined for the XSE.

Which 2025 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SE Upgrade, XLE, XSE.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry point into the hybrid Camry lineup. You still get the standard hybrid powertrain, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the 8-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration.
• SE Upgrade: This trim adds a step up in appearance and wheel size over the SE, making it a sensible middle ground if you want a little more presence without jumping all the way to the luxury-leaning trims.
• XLE: This is the best fit if you want the most comfort-focused version. It adds the larger touchscreen, digital gauge cluster, head-up display, JBL audio, and the extra safety and parking features that make daily driving easier.
• XSE: Choose this if you want the sportiest look and the most fully equipped Camry. It brings the 19-inch wheels, sporty exterior details, and the same upgraded tech and safety equipment as the XLE.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard across the lineup, while the extra parking and traffic-assist features are reserved for XLE and XSE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 257 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,678 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $38,678 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,111 CAD.

That price movement suggests the used market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you’re planning to sell later, the current softness could limit upside unless your Camry is especially well equipped or lightly used.

The good news is that the Camry’s reputation for reliability, safety, and efficiency should help keep demand steady. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2025 Camry is too new to have completed crash testing with independent safety organizations.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard on every trim.

Higher trims add front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist. That means the upper trims give you a more complete driver-assistance package, while the base trim still covers the essentials well.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It debuts a new hybrid powertrain, new styling, and a stronger value proposition for 2025.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition package and a new Cosmos Blue paint colour.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Camry with a lower used price than last year and strong owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the better value target. If you’re shopping purely on price and can wait for a slightly newer model with a few cosmetic updates, the 2026 is worth a look.
