Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 9.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,129 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — the 2025 RAM 1500 earns 4/5 from owners and an 8.33/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall showing. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its sharp looks, smooth ride, powerful engine options, and quality finish. The truck also comes across as a more upscale full-size pickup, with premium interior materials and a spacious cabin that suit buyers who want everyday comfort as much as capability.

The main trade-offs are that the price can feel steep and advanced safety features are not standard. The overview also makes clear that this is a truck for shoppers who want a refined all-rounder rather than a bare-bones workhorse.

With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable, with praise for its quality, finish, and smooth day-to-day character. That kind of feedback matters if you want something you can count on over the long term.

The expert drive notes also support that impression, with smooth-shifting transmission behaviour and a ride that feels appropriately tuned for a full-size truck. Ram also says the new engine architecture is more efficient, even during trailer towing, which can help ownership feel less demanding over time.

If you are buying used, the main long-term risk is that higher-spec trucks can be expensive to keep up, especially if you want the latest technology and driver-assistance equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the work-focused Tradesman to the new Tungsten, with clear differences in cabin materials, exterior detailing, and luxury features. Base trims miss some of the premium touches and high-end tech that make the upper trims feel especially upscale.
• Powertrain: The base 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 carries over, while the optional upgrade is the 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in standard-output and high-output forms. Ram says the new engine architecture is more efficient, and the standard-output version is the one to choose for maximum towing capacity.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is Ram’s Level 2+ semi-autonomous setup, and it can change speeds, maintain distance, and keep the truck centred in lane on approved roadways. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, but blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: An 8.4-inch screen is standard even on the base Tradesman, a 12-inch screen is available, and the new 14.5-inch touchscreen runs Uconnect 5. The 10.25-inch passenger screen becomes available starting with Laramie, and wireless charging, a digital rearview mirror, and a head-up display are available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: Ram says the new engine architecture brings better fuel efficiency, even during trailer towing.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 5 trim levels: Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Tungsten.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and the core truck basics. It gets the standard 8.4-inch screen, but it is the least luxurious way into the lineup.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel and unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen. It is a strong middle ground if you want meaningful tech and comfort upgrades without jumping to the top end.
• Rebel: Choose this if you want the more rugged-looking, off-road-oriented character that stands apart from the rest of the range. It is the trim that best matches the truck’s available stock off-road capability.
• Limited: This is the step into high-end comfort and premium materials, with more luxury-focused equipment than the lower trims. It suits you if you want a near-top-spec truck without going all the way to Tungsten.
• Tungsten: This is the new super-luxe flagship, with the most premium interior treatment, exclusive design details, and the richest tech content. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale Ram 1500 experience.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so you should check equipment carefully on any trim you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $63,141 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $63,141 CAD sits slightly below last year's $70,059 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers have more room to negotiate today than they did a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale value may be more sensitive to trim, equipment, and condition than it would be in a tighter market.

Higher-spec trucks with desirable technology and strong presentation should hold more appeal than stripped-down examples. If the market stays competitive, well-kept trucks with the right features should remain easier to move.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ram’s available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is the headline safety and driver-assistance feature for this model year. It can handle lane centring, speed changes, and following distance on approved roadways, and it adds a more advanced hands-free experience than many shoppers will expect in a pickup.

Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, and Ram says the truck can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot. The caveat is that blind-spot monitoring is not standard, and the same is true of adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround view camera.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings a major tech update, including a hands-free driver-assistance system and new powertrain options.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The Hemi V8 returns as an option, giving you a characterful engine choice again.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the updated tech, stronger efficiency story, and a market that is currently more favourable to buyers. If engine character matters most, the 2026 is worth a look, especially if you are willing to wait for the right configuration and price.
