Used 2025 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearSussex, NB

How much does the 2025 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 22.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,735 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The Rogue is positioned as a practical, value-packed five-passenger compact SUV with a comfortable ride, good fuel economy, and an upscale interior. It is aimed at shoppers who want a well-rounded compact SUV rather than a sportier one.

The main trade-offs are modest acceleration and passing power, plus upper trims that are less of a value. Some rivals are also sportier and more fun to drive.

The market shows 36.1% of listings as good or great deals, which points to decent buying opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue is described as a well-rounded choice with a comfortable ride, good fuel economy, and a polished feature set. Its turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder is smooth in routine driving, and the CVT is described as smooth and nicely faded into the background.

The drivetrain is also kind to a fuel budget, and the model’s easy-going demeanour and supportive seating point to a vehicle that should be straightforward to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the same modest powertrain character that keeps it efficient may leave you wanting more passing power.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S gets the essentials, but the SV adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hot spot, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate. The SL and Platinum bring the larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa, while the Platinum adds semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 10-speaker Bose audio.
• Powertrain: Every Rogue uses a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder paired with a CVT and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. It is smooth for everyday driving, but acceleration is modest.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 are available, along with a surround-view parking camera system and traffic sign recognition.
• Infotainment: Lower trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and Google built-in capability.
• Fuel efficiency: The Rogue delivers a Natural Resources Canada-estimated 7.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is offered in 6 trim levels: S, SV, Midnight Edition, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Rogue experience with standard all-wheel drive, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, remote start, and dual-zone climate control. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and can live without the extra convenience and tech upgrades.
• SV: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hot spot, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Midnight Edition: This trim is for you if you want a more distinctive look, but the available information here does not show a major equipment leap over the SV.
• SV Premium: This trim builds on the SV with more comfort and convenience content, making it a sensible step if you want more features without going all the way to the upper trims.
• SL: This is where the larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in appears, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, satellite radio, and more advanced tech appeal.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious Rogue here, with semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 10-speaker Bose audio. It suits you if you want the most upscale cabin and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, and a driver attention monitor, with ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 available on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,735 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,552 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $30,552 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,652 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future resale if you buy at the right number. If you pay near the current average or below, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher.

The Rogue’s broad appeal, practical layout, and strong owner satisfaction should help keep demand steady among used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2025 Rogue earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and Good marks from IIHS in all but one category, where it receives an Acceptable score for side impact testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights.

ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 are available, along with a surround-view parking camera system and traffic sign recognition. The main caveat is the IIHS side impact result, which trails the Rogue’s otherwise strong crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds Rock Creek trim availability and ProPilot Assist 2.1, expanding its appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,518 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $30,552 CAD average.
• It stands out for refreshed styling and Google built-in apps.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year updates, broader trim appeal, and stronger current-year deal potential, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 remains a smart alternative with its own tech and styling strengths.
