Used 2025 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearThunder Bay, ON

How much does the 2025 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 21.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,420 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is a strong value play if you want a small crossover that feels more polished than its price suggests, with a user rating of 2/5 and an expert rating of 7.17/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

It brings a stylish design, fuel-efficient operation, and more upscale features and finishes than before, while still aiming at young and first-time shoppers. The trade-offs are that the base engine is underwhelming and there is no power seat adjustment, so you’re buying into value and equipment rather than outright punch or convenience.

The market also looks fairly supportive, with 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is presented as a much better vehicle than before, with a more refined driving experience and improved cabin quietness that should help it feel easier to live with day to day. The new powertrain is described as a vast improvement over the outgoing setup, and the CVT is said to maintain good fuel economy without being miserable about it.

That points to a used model that should be more satisfying than the previous generation, especially if you value a calmer commute and fewer of the old car’s rough edges. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that you’re still buying a small crossover with modest performance, so condition and maintenance history matter if you want it to stay pleasant over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Kicks has a more premium feel than before, with LED exterior lighting across the lineup, standard heated front seats, and optional synthetic leather upholstery. The base trim still keeps costs down with manually adjustable seats, a four-speaker stereo, and fewer convenience features than higher grades.
• Powertrain: Every new Kicks uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT, and AWD is available. The setup is tuned for better everyday drivability than the previous generation, but it is still modest in output and can feel slow to accelerate at times.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR, and the 360-degree monitor also starts at the SR.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SV adds a wireless charging pad and two extra speakers, while the SR brings twin 12.3-inch screens, wireless connectivity and charging, and rear USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: With FWD, the Kicks is rated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 6.6 highway, and 7.4 combined. With AWD, those figures rise to 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Kicks trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SV Premium, SR, and SR Premium.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the redesigned Kicks experience at the lowest price, but it is also the most stripped-back version with the fewest comfort and tech extras.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful everyday upgrades like a wireless charging pad and extra speakers without pushing you into the pricier premium territory.
• SV Premium: This is the sweet spot if you want AWD standard and a more upscale equipment mix without going all the way to the top trims.
• SR: This trim adds the slick twin-screen setup, ProPilot Assist, and the 360-degree monitor, making it the choice if you want the most advanced driver-assistance and display tech.
• SR Premium: This is the most fully equipped version, with the Bose audio system and headrest speakers, and it suits you if you want the most premium-feeling Kicks.

Safety Shield 360 is standard, while ProPilot Assist and the surround-view monitor begin at the SR trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing movement to reward comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,420 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,890 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $24,890 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,541 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers' favour, which can make the Kicks easier to shop now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means you should expect more price sensitivity if you plan to trade or sell later, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or lacks desirable equipment. The upside is that a well-equipped trim with strong condition and desirable features should still stand out in a value-focused segment.

The 360-degree monitor also starts at the SR trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.09% compared with last year.
• It is the redesigned version with more upscale features, available AWD, and a stronger overall expert verdict than the previous generation.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished Kicks and you value the redesign’s extra equipment, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but you’ll be giving up the newer model’s added refinement and equipment.
