Used 2025 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearSaint John, NB

How much does the 2025 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 21.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,496 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is a strong value play if you want a small crossover that feels more polished than its price suggests, though it still makes a few budget-minded compromises. It earns 2/5 from users and 7.17/10 from our experts.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a fully redesigned subcompact crossover with an accessible entry-level price, a stylish design, fuel-efficient operation, and more upscale features and finishes than before. That makes it especially appealing if you’re a young or first-time shopper looking for a practical small crossover with a more premium feel.

The trade-offs are worth keeping in mind: the base engine is underwhelming, there is no power seat adjustment, and uncomfortable wind buffeting is one of its drawbacks.

With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is presented as a much better vehicle than before, with a more refined driving experience and improved cabin isolation compared with the outgoing model. Its new 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and all-new CVT are described as a vast improvement over the previous setup, and the cabin is said to be much better at keeping road and wind noise out.

The performance notes also say the new powertrain manages to maintain good fuel economy without being miserable about it, which is a useful sign for everyday dependability and ownership satisfaction. On the cost side, the lineup’s value positioning and available equipment suggest you’re getting a lot of content for the money, and the SV Premium is called out as a great value.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Kicks still isn’t quick, so if you expect strong acceleration or frequent high-speed passing power, you may find its limits sooner than you’d like.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model gets LED exterior lighting, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a four-speaker stereo, while higher trims add more premium touches such as two-tone paint availability, extra screens, wireless charging, and a Bose audio system. The base trim also misses some of the more upscale equipment that helps the Kicks feel more premium.
• Powertrain: Every new Kicks uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT, and AWD is available on the S and SV grades before becoming standard on the top three trims. The AWD system adds torque vectoring and a Snow mode on AWD versions.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SV adds wireless charging and extra speakers, while the SR brings twin 12.3-inch screens and more USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: With FWD, the Kicks is rated at 8.1 L/100 km in the city, 6.6 on the highway, and 7.4 combined. With AWD, those figures rise to 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Kicks trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SV Premium, SR, and SR Premium.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Kicks experience at the lowest price. It’s the trim to consider if you want the redesign’s value story without stretching your budget, but it’s also the one most likely to feel stripped back compared with the higher grades.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds wireless charging and extra speakers while staying below the more expensive premium trims. If you want a better-equipped Kicks without jumping too far up the price ladder, this is the one to focus on.
• SV Premium: This is the sweet spot if you want AWD standard and a more upscale mix of equipment without going all the way to the top. It’s the trim Nissan expects to be the best-selling configuration, and it balances price and content especially well.
• SR: This trim adds the more advanced tech and driver-assistance content, including the twin 12.3-inch screens, ProPilot Assist, and the 360-degree monitor system. It suits you if you want the most feature-rich cabin and don’t mind paying more for it.
• SR Premium: This is the most fully equipped version, with the Bose audio system, twin 12.3-inch displays, ProPilot Assist, and the surround-view monitor. Choose it if you want the most premium-feeling Kicks and are willing to pay for it.

Safety Shield 360 is standard, and ProPilot Assist begins with the SR.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,496 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,730 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $24,730 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,417 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favourable if you’re planning to sell soon. If you own one and want to trade it in later, you should expect resale values to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle is equipped relative to similar listings.

For a future seller, the current trend means you may need to price competitively to stand out. Higher-trim versions with desirable equipment should hold up better than a bare-bones example, especially if the vehicle is clean and well maintained.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks safe?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks receives a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Safety Shield 360 comes standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.

The 360-degree monitor system is another useful safety and parking aid, and it becomes standard beginning at the SR trim. The main caveat is that ProPilot Assist can take a little getting used to when several features are working together in traffic.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.28% compared with last year.
• The redesign gives you more power, available AWD, and a much more upscale cabin than the previous generation.

The bottom line: If you want the better Kicks, the 2025 is the clear choice because it brings the redesign, the stronger powertrain, and the more premium equipment. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby older year may still make sense, but you’ll be giving up a lot of the improvements that make this version more appealing.
