Used 2025 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2025 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 21.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,608 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is a strong value play if you want a small crossover that feels more polished than its price suggests, though its appeal depends on whether you can live with a few compromises. It earns 2/5 from users and 7.2/10 from our experts.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a fully redesigned subcompact crossover with an accessible entry-level price, a stylish design, fuel-efficient operation, and available all-wheel drive. The trade-offs are that the base engine is underwhelming and there is no power seat adjustment, while uncomfortable wind buffeting is also noted among its drawbacks.

For shoppers who want a value-first small crossover with more upscale features and finishes than before, it makes a compelling case. With 32.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market is giving you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is presented as a much better vehicle than before, with the redesign addressing many of the rough edges that held the previous version back. Our experts note that the new powertrain manages modest output well and maintains good fuel economy without being miserable about it.

The performance side also points to a more settled, balanced driving feel, with minimal body roll and much better cabin noise control thanks to added insulation. That suggests a more mature ownership experience than the old model delivered.

For long-term used ownership, the main risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the modest engine and CVT behaviour will satisfy you over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S gives you the redesigned look and standard LED exterior lighting, but the higher trims add more upscale features and finishes. Heated front seats are standard in Canada, and the seats are only manually adjustable, so you should check whether the trim you want includes the comfort and convenience features you expect.
• Powertrain: Every new Kicks uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission. It is rated at 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, and the AWD system is available on some trims and standard on the top three trims.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The base S gets a four-speaker stereo and two USB-C ports, while the SV adds a wireless charging pad and two extra speakers. The SR brings a pair of 12.3-inch screens, wireless connectivity and charging, plus two more rear USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: With FWD, the Kicks is rated at 8.1 L/100 km in the city, 6.6 on the highway, and 7.4 combined. With AWD, those figures rise to 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Kicks trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SV Premium, SR, SR Premium.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the redesigned Kicks at the lowest price, along with the standard safety package and 12.3-inch touchscreen. It makes sense if you want the core value story and can live without the extra convenience and premium touches.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds wireless charging and extra speakers while keeping the price in check. If you want a better-equipped Kicks without stretching too far, this is the one to focus on.
• SV Premium: This is the trim to target if you want AWD as standard and a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top end. It is the sweet spot for shoppers who want the strongest mix of equipment and value.
• SR: This trim adds the slick twin-screen setup, wireless connectivity and charging, rear USB-C ports, and the Bose audio system with headrest speakers. It suits you if tech and cabin ambience matter more than keeping the price down.
• SR Premium: This is the most fully equipped version, and it bundles the premium audio, twin 12.3-inch displays, ProPilot Assist, and the 360-degree camera system. Choose it if you want the most complete Kicks experience and are willing to pay for it.

Safety Shield 360 is standard, and ProPilot Assist begins with the SR.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you know what trim and price you want.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,608 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,716 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $24,717 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,316 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has moved in buyers' favour, which can help you get into the vehicle at a more attractive entry point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

If you buy carefully now, you may be able to limit depreciation pain later by choosing a trim that has broader appeal. The strongest resale case will likely come from versions that balance price, AWD availability, and desirable tech.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks safe?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks receives a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Safety Shield 360 comes standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.

The 360-degree monitor system is also available and comes standard beginning at the SR trim. One caveat is that ProPilot Assist can take a bit of learning when several features are working together in traffic.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.07% compared with last year.
• The redesign matters to you, because this year brings a much better vehicle with available all-wheel drive, more upscale features and finishes, and a stronger overall value proposition.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished Kicks in this generation, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth considering, but you give up the redesign’s extra refinement and equipment.
