Used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearRichmond Hill, ON

How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 11.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 241 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

It’s a strong luxury SUV if you want a premium cabin, broad powertrain choice, and family-friendly versatility, though it comes with some clear compromises. The user rating is 3/5, and the expert rating is 7.5/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The GLE’s appeal starts with its multiple body styles and multiple powertrain options, plus an interior that feels upscale and special. At the same time, the styling is described as ungainly, it drives bigger than it looks, and outward visibility is poor.

Those trade-offs matter most if you want a luxury SUV that feels easy to place in traffic or especially graceful on backroads. If you value Mercedes-Benz branding, a premium cabin, and flexibility, the GLE still fits the brief well.

28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2025 GLE looks well equipped for day-to-day use, with a strong emphasis on refinement and broad capability rather than simplicity. Mercedes includes a four-year/80,000-kilometre new-vehicle warranty, and the GLE’s powertrain range includes efficient and high-output options.

Its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder uses a mild hybrid system, while the inline-six and plug-in hybrid versions add more performance and flexibility. The plug-in hybrid also offers up to 80 kilometres of electric range, and the lineup includes a reasonable combined fuel-consumption figure for the GLE 350.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the GLE’s complexity and premium positioning can make upkeep more demanding than a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLE’s cabin is a major selling point, with chunky air vents, mesh speaker grilles for the optional Burmester audio system, and 64-colour ambient lighting. Base models still lean heavily on the brand’s upscale presentation, but you should check whether the features you want are included on the specific trim you’re considering.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with mild hybrid assistance, a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six with mild hybrid assistance, a plug-in hybrid with 80 kilometres of electric range, or AMG performance models. The GLE 450’s inline-six is described as particularly smooth.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, which also adds automatic speed-limit and curve adaptation, stop-and-go functionality, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, a cross-traffic function for automatic emergency braking, and an expanded driver-monitoring system.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses two 12.3-inch screens, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus built-in navigation. You also get multiple ways to control the system, including a touchpad, buttons, steering-wheel touchpads, and the touchscreen itself.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 350 is rated at 10.8 L/100 km combined, the GLE 450e 4Matic is rated at 10.2 L/100 km combined in hybrid mode, and the AMG GLE 63 S is rated at 15.2 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 5 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, GLE 450e 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 4Matic+, AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core GLE experience with the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, mild hybrid assistance, and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It’s the best-value choice if you want the GLE’s premium cabin and technology without chasing higher-output powertrains.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This trim adds the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six with mild hybrid assistance, and it’s described as particularly smooth. Choose it if you want the most balanced mix of refinement and performance.
• GLE 450e 4Matic: This is the plug-in hybrid option, pairing a turbo-four with electric assist and up to 80 kilometres of electric range. It suits you best if you want the most flexibility for shorter daily drives.
• AMG GLE 53 4Matic+: This performance model uses an uprated inline-six and is aimed at buyers who want stronger acceleration and a more athletic character.
• AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+: This is the top performance choice, with a hand-assembled twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 and the most dramatic straight-line pace. It’s for you if outright performance matters more than efficiency.

The safety package is broad, but adaptive cruise control remains part of the optional Driver Assistance Package rather than standard equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 241 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $98,182 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $98,182 CAD sits slightly below last year's $110,384 CAD.

That price movement suggests the GLE has become more buyer-friendly in the near term. If you’re planning to sell later, you should expect the market to remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment level.

The good news is that the GLE’s premium badge, multiple body styles, and broad powertrain range should help it stay relevant with used shoppers. The challenge is that depreciation has already moved the average price down, so timing and presentation will matter when you list it.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS, although its front-crash prevention tech still receives only “Marginal” and “Acceptable” ratings in standard and optional forms, respectively.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is optional through the Driver Assistance Package, which also adds automatic speed-limit and curve adaptation, stop-and-go functionality, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, a cross-traffic function for automatic emergency braking, and an expanded driver-monitoring system that can bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver is unresponsive.

The main caveat is that some important driver-assistance features are not standard, so you’ll want to confirm whether the example you’re considering has the package you want.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• It gives you a broad powertrain range, a premium cabin, and strong technology.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The six-cylinder GLE 450 gets a standard AMG Line exterior design.

The bottom line: If you want the better shopping opportunity, the 2025 is the more compelling pick because prices have eased and there’s still decent inventory to compare. If you’re mainly focused on the latest styling update and don’t mind paying more, the 2026 is worth a look.
