Used 2025 Kia Seltos for Sale nearElmira, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Seltos cost?

Prices have softened 11.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 720 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Seltos a good car?

The 2025 Kia Seltos stands out as a subcompact crossover that aims to feel bigger and more polished than its footprint suggests. Kia positioned it to bridge the gap between the Soul and the Sportage, and the result is a small SUV with a more rugged personality, a surprisingly premium interior for the price, and a larger footprint than some of its rivals.

For 2025, it benefits from sharper styling, improved interior materials, a revised turbocharged engine, and a new eight-speed torque converter automatic. It also adds safety equipment across the lineup, while the cabin remains a strength thanks to its refined driving dynamics and generous passenger and cargo space for a vehicle of this size.

If you want a small crossover that feels thoughtfully executed rather than merely basic, the Seltos fits that brief well. 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Kia Seltos reliable?

The 2025 Kia Seltos is presented as a well-rounded small crossover with intuitive controls, practical packaging, and a nicely refined chassis. Its strengths centre on everyday usability, a high-quality cabin, and a balanced driving experience rather than flashy complexity.

It also carries some trade-offs, including a base engine that is described as underpowered and a cabin that is not the quietest choice. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about living with those compromises than expecting a fundamentally difficult vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Seltos?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 720 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,948 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $27,948 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,705 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than it would be in a stronger pricing environment. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and buy at the right price, you should be better positioned to limit depreciation pain later.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.85% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,162 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $27,948 CAD average.
• It offers practical space and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year updates, the 2025 is the better primary choice, especially with prices down and a decent share of deal listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it delivers much of the same practical appeal for less.
