Used 2025 Kia K4 for Sale nearNew Westminster, BC

How much does the 2025 Kia K4 cost?

Prices have softened 12.25% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 274 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia K4 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia K4 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Cost effectiveness.

It is positioned as a value-focused compact sedan, but the appeal goes beyond price alone: you get strong practicality, more passenger space, and a useful cargo area. The trade-offs are that it is still not as satisfying to drive as the segment leader, and its powertrains are underwhelming.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 24.8% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Kia K4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The K4 is presented as a sensible commuter car with an emphasis on practicality, affordability, and everyday usability. Its standard equipment and value-oriented positioning suggest a low-drama ownership experience for shoppers who prioritise function over excitement.

Kia also prices the K4 aggressively, which can help keep ownership costs manageable. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s weaker driving character may matter more over time if you want something engaging rather than simply efficient and well equipped.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia K4?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LX is the entry point, while the EX, EX+, GT-Line Turbo, and GT-Line Turbo Limited add more equipment and a more upscale feel. The base trim gets the essentials, but the GT-Line trims bring a more comfortable cabin setup, including lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.0-litre four-cylinder makes 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque with a CVT, while the GT-Line Turbo and GT-Line Turbo Limited use a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 190 hp and 195 lb-ft paired to an eight-speed automatic. The non-turbo version is tuned more for commuting than excitement.
• Safety package: Every K4 includes lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, driver attention warning, forward collision warning and assistance with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go. Blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, surround-view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, and Highway Drive Assist 2 are available only on higher trims or as upgrades.
• Infotainment: Every K4 comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, four USB-C ports, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging on GT-Line testers. GT-Line trims also add Kia’s navigation system with in-vehicle Google Points of Interest search.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-litre engine is rated at 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.0 highway, and 7.3 combined, while the turbo engine is rated at 9.2 L/100 km city, 6.6 highway, and 8.0 combined.

Which 2025 Kia K4 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia K4 is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, EX, EX+, GT-Line Turbo, and GT-Line Turbo Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry price and still want the K4’s core strengths: strong practicality, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, four USB-C ports, and standard driver-assistance features. It is the best fit if you want the K4’s space and tech without paying for extras.
• EX: This trim adds a step up in equipment while staying close to the K4’s value-first mission. It makes sense if you want a little more comfort and convenience without moving too far up the price ladder.
• EX+: This is the middle-ground choice if you want more features than the EX but do not need the turbo powertrain. It should suit you if you want a better-equipped commuter with the same practical focus.
• GT-Line Turbo: This is the best-value upgrade if you want the stronger 1.6-litre turbo engine, the eight-speed automatic, and the more polished GT-Line cabin details. It also gets the multi-link rear suspension, which helps separate it from the lower trims.
• GT-Line Turbo Limited: Choose this if you want the most fully equipped K4, including the most advanced available driver-assistance and convenience features, plus the Harman Kardon audio system.

The GT-Line trims also bring the more advanced safety and convenience equipment, while the GT-Line Turbo Limited is the only trim with the full suite of the most advanced available features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia K4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 274 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,469 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia K4's resale value?

The current average of $25,469 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,026 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the K4 is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly. If you plan to sell later, you should expect the market to reward well-kept examples, but not necessarily to reverse the broader downward trend quickly.

For a future seller, the upside is that the K4’s strong value proposition, standard tech, and practicality should help it stay relevant with used shoppers. The downside is that softer new-car pricing can put pressure on resale values for a while.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia K4 safe?

The 2025 Kia K4 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every Kia K4 comes with lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, driver attention warning, forward collision warning and assistance with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go. Blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, surround-view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, and Highway Drive Assist 2 are available only on higher trims or as upgrades.

A key caveat is that some of the more desirable safety features are not standard across the lineup, so you will want to check trim carefully if those systems matter to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia K4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 stands out for its new name, new look, more standard tech, more passenger space, and more cargo space.

The bottom line: If you want the newest K4 with the strongest mix of value, space, and standard equipment, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make it worth shopping carefully for a well-priced example rather than paying a premium for the first one you see.
