Yes — the 2025 Kia Carnival earns a 5/5 user rating, and it stands out for bringing SUV-like styling to the minivan segment without giving up family-friendly practicality. Its long, boxy shape supports cargo capacity and passenger comfort, especially in the third row, while the low step-in height makes daily use easier. Is the 2025 Kia Carnival reliable?

The 2025 Carnival’s appeal comes from its practical packaging, comfortable cabin, and easy-to-live-with design, all of which support confidence in everyday ownership. Its low step-in height and relatively light curb weight should also make it less cumbersome than many larger SUVs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should still inspect maintenance history carefully, especially on a family vehicle that may have seen heavy use.

What is the 2025 Kia Carnival's resale value?

The current average of $41,801 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,218 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Carnival has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Carnival or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,897 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,801 CAD average.
• It offers a stylish, value-focused people mover with strong driving manners.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated styling and are comfortable paying a bit more for the newer model year. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you can live without the refresh.
