Is the 2025 Kia Carnival a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia Carnival earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out because it combines minivan practicality with a more aggressive, angular, and modern look than many rivals, while still delivering the space families actually use. Its long, boxy shape helps with cargo capacity and passenger comfort, especially for adults in the third row, and the low step-in height makes it easier to live with than many truck-based SUVs. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a meaningful amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Carnival’s appeal comes from its family-friendly packaging, broad comfort and convenience features, and a powertrain lineup that includes both a V6 and a hybrid option. It also offers a strong mix of technology and driver assistance equipment, which can make day-to-day ownership feel easier and more reassuring. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a feature-rich family vehicle can become more expensive to maintain if previous owners skipped regular service.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Carnival?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid deal.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 209 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,072 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Carnival's resale value?

The current average of $42,072 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,167 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Carnival more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because the model has broad family appeal and strong owner satisfaction, demand should remain healthy if your vehicle is clean and well cared for.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Carnival or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,316 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,072 CAD average.
• It offers strong driving dynamics and value for money.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and are shopping for a well-liked family hauler with strong market support. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you want to save money and can live without the newer-year pricing structure.
