Is the 2025 Kia Carnival a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Kia Carnival. It stands out because it brings minivan practicality in a package that looks far more aggressive, angular, and modern than most rivals, while still delivering the space families actually use. Its long, boxy shape helps with cargo capacity and passenger comfort, especially for adults in the third row, and the low step-in height makes it easier to live with than many truck-based SUVs. 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Kia Carnival’s appeal comes from its broad range of comfort and convenience features, strong mix of technology and driver assistance equipment, and family-friendly packaging. It also benefits from a redesigned dashboard with updated infotainment screens for 2025. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the cabin and engine can be louder than those of some competitors, so condition and maintenance history matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Carnival?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 211 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,558 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Carnival's resale value?

The current average of $42,558 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,807 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. The Carnival’s strong family-focused packaging and distinctive styling should help it stay appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Carnival or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,817 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,558 CAD average.
• It offers strong driving feel and value for money.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broader market of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better secondary path, especially if you can find one in strong condition at a lower asking price.
