Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearThunder Bay, ON

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 10.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 710 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare trims and equipment.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Jeep Wrangler earns a 4/5 user rating and a 5.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Performance and Technology.

It stays true to its rugged, old-school character while still offering two-door and four-door body styles, two engines, and six trim levels. That makes it a strong fit if you want iconic looks and serious off-road ability rather than a polished daily driver.

The trade-offs are clear: it is noisy, rides poorly, and can feel unpleasant in everyday use. It is best suited to you if character, capability, and open-air fun matter more than refinement.

32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Wrangler’s appeal comes from its durable, adventure-first design and its ability to be hosed out after dirty outings. Its standard four-wheel drive, high ground clearance, and generous approach and departure angles also support its reputation for toughness.

The turbocharged four-cylinder is described as a fine powerplant aside from its nasal idle note and loud cooling fan, which suggests the mechanical package is capable even if it is not especially refined. If you buy used, your main long-term ownership risk is living with a vehicle that is built for rugged use rather than quiet, low-stress commuting.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is the most basic version, while the Sport S adds more convenience and safety equipment. Higher trims bring more equipment, but the Wrangler’s appeal still centres on its removable top and doors, rugged design, and go-anywhere character.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 3.6-litre V6 with a six-speed manual or a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic. The four-cylinder is more efficient and makes 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on any Wrangler except the base Sport trim. Forward collision warning with automatic braking is standard only on the Sahara, and adaptive cruise control is available on automatic models.
• Infotainment: The Uconnect 5 system uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio preparation. More expensive models can add navigation and Jeep Connect connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged four-cylinder is rated at 11.0 L/100 km combined, or 11.3 L/100 km combined in the four-door model, versus 12.2 L/100 km combined, or 12.6 L/100 km combined, for the V6.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is also the most stripped-back version, so you should expect the fewest convenience and safety extras.
• Sport S: This is the best-value choice if you want a more usable Wrangler, since it adds more everyday equipment and can be paired with useful safety options.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more characterful Wrangler with a stronger adventure-focused personality.
• Sahara: This is the trim to target if you want the standard forward collision warning with automatic braking.
• Rubicon: Pick this if off-road capability is your priority, since it is aimed at the most serious trail use.
• Rubicon X: This is the most premium gas trim in the lineup, for buyers who want the most equipment and are willing to pay for it.

The Sport S is the best-value trim for most used buyers, while the Sahara stands out if you want the key safety package. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on any Wrangler except the base Sport trim level.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 710 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.56% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,653 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $53,653 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,986 CAD.

That price decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The Wrangler’s strong identity and broad appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples with the right trim and powertrain. If you buy carefully now, you may be able to benefit from the softer market while still owning a model with enduring nameplate appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover from NHTSA, and Good ratings from IIHS in side-impact protection and the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test. It also receives a Marginal rating in the small overlap frontal-impact test.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The Wrangler includes standard side curtain airbags for the front and rear seats, which is a major safety improvement. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on most trims, while forward collision warning with automatic braking is reserved for the Sahara. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality is available on automatic models, and automatic high-beam headlights are also offered.

The small overlap frontal result is the main caveat to keep in mind, especially if safety is a top priority for your used-car search.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard power windows and door locks, plus the return of the V6/automatic drivetrain.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,123 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $53,653 CAD average.
• It brings a mid-cycle refresh focused on technology, safety, and refinement.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds an enhanced hinge system that makes the doors easier to remove.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the current-year Wrangler with softer pricing and the latest equipment changes. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 is worth a look if easier door removal matters to you.
