Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out by combining three-row practicality with the sort of off-road capability Jeep is known for. It is a larger midsize variant with third-row seats, and it sits between the standard Grand Cherokee and the full-size Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Compared with other midsize three-row SUVs, it is notable for its off-road abilities, strong towing capacity, and an interior that is both spacious and luxuriously refined.

For Canadian buyers, standard four-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a base Laredo trim with three-zone climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a solid list of driver-assistance features make it a well-equipped starting point. Higher trims add more comfort and luxury, including leather, heated and ventilated seats, a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a power-folding third row, and premium audio.

29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find a competitive example.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L remains appealing for buyers who want a three-row SUV that feels upscale, can handle rougher terrain, and offers real towing and utility credentials. Its cabin packaging and equipment list support everyday family use, while its capability-focused character gives it a broader role than many mainstream three-row SUVs.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium, capability-oriented SUV can be more expensive to keep in top shape if you plan to use its towing and off-road strengths regularly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 248 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,102 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $60,102 CAD sits slightly below last year's $72,290 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim, since the broader market has softened. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.86% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the latest version of this three-row Jeep with a softer used-market price and a decent spread of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you a strong balance of capability, equipment, and current market value.
