Is the 2025 Hyundai Elantra a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Hyundai Elantra. It stands out as a compact car that has become much roomier, more refined, and more feature-rich than earlier versions, and it should appeal if you want a practical small sedan with more space than expected. The 2025 Hyundai Elantra is described as still being under warranty and as one of the best Elantra generations, which supports confidence for used buyers. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 784 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.49% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Elantra's resale value?

The current average of $24,489 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,985 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be shaped by how well the model holds demand after this softer pricing period. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less room for depreciation pressure later than someone who paid closer to last year's average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Elantra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,546 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,489 CAD average.
• It offers a refreshed, more distinctive small-sedan feel with added style and standard equipment.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the newer used option with stronger market availability and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value-focused alternative.
