Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearMount Pearl, NL

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 9.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 84 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It stands out because Honda takes a different approach to midsize pickups, using crossover-like unibody construction and clever storage solutions that make it easier to live with day to day. Its comfortable ride and good handling also support its everyday appeal.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated.

With 26.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of attractive options to consider.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s unibody construction, solid fit and finish, and durable-feeling cabin all support its reputation as an easy truck to live with. Its standard AWD and smooth V6 powertrain also point to a well-rounded, low-drama ownership experience.

Honda’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre limited warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty align closely with what other brands offer.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its age shows up in the technology and in its limited towing and off-road capability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition each bring different equipment levels, with the base trim missing some features found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You get a single 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic, plus standard AWD; it is smooth and responsive, but not built for class-leading towing.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: All models come with a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation is standard on the Black Edition, and the base Sport does not get SiriusXM.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 11.5 L/100 km combined, while TrailSport models are slightly less efficient at 11.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Ridgeline’s core appeal: standard AWD, the V6, a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Ridgeline’s more adventurous look and hardware, including all-terrain tyres, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate. It suits you best if you want the most distinctive version without jumping to the top trim.
• Black Edition: This is the most upscale choice, with navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, and rear USB-C ports. It is the one to choose if you want the most features and the most polished cabin presentation.

Honda Sensing is standard across the range.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,863 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $51,605 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,812 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests the Ridgeline is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that can mean less immediate upside if you buy at today’s average and try to resell soon.

Even so, the model’s practical layout, standard AWD, and strong everyday usability should help it stay appealing to shoppers who want a comfortable midsize truck.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests from NHTSA, and four stars in rollover testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation.

The Ridgeline also earned a top “Good” score in the updated IIHS side crash test, along with a “Good” score in the original moderate front overlap test and an “Acceptable” score in the small overlap front test. Headlights received a “Marginal” rating.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you get the latest version of this formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,841 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,605 CAD average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim with off-road hardware and a more modern cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of Honda’s practical, easy-to-live-with midsize truck, the 2025 is the straightforward pick. If price matters more than having the latest model year, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
