Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearFredericton, NB

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 11.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 90 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

The Ridgeline takes a different approach to midsize pickups, using crossover-like unibody construction and clever storage solutions to make it easier to live with day to day. It also stands out with standard all-wheel drive, a comfortable ride, and good handling, which suit you well if you want a practical truck that feels easy to use in everyday driving.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated.

With 22.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s overall formula points to solid day-to-day dependability: it is built around a unibody layout, has a comfortable ride, and is described as refined and easy to live with. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are presented as a smooth, responsive combination, and the truck’s standard AWD and independent suspension support a composed driving experience.

Honda’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre limited warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty are in line with what you would expect in this segment.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its limited towing and off-road ability may not match your needs if you want a more traditional pickup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline’s trims differ in appearance and equipment, with the TrailSport adding off-road-focused touches such as all-terrain tyres, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate. The base Sport is the most straightforward choice, while the Black Edition adds more premium tech and audio equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a single setup: a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard AWD. It is smooth and responsive, but the start-stop system can feel slow to wake up.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: All models get a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless phone charging is standard, and the Black Edition adds navigation and rear USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models are rated at 11.5 L/100 km combined, while TrailSport models are slightly less efficient at 11.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the value play if you want the Ridgeline’s core strengths at the lowest entry point: standard AWD, the V6, the 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Honda Sensing. It gives you the essentials without pushing the price up.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Ridgeline’s more adventurous look and the added hardware that comes with it. It adds all-terrain tyres, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, making it the trim to choose if you want the most distinctive version.
• Black Edition: This is the most premium choice, with navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, and rear USB-C ports. It suits you best if you want the most fully equipped Ridgeline.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 90 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,858 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $51,391 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,894 CAD.

That price decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make the Ridgeline easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means you should expect resale values to reflect the softer market rather than a strong upward trend. If you buy at the right price, the Ridgeline’s practical appeal may help support demand later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests from NHTSA, and four-star ratings in rollover testing. It also received a Good score in the updated IIHS side crash test, a Good score in the original IIHS moderate front overlap test, and an Acceptable score in the small overlap front test.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation.

The main caveats are the Marginal headlight rating and the absence of a 360-degree camera system.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you get the latest version of this formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,658 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,391 CAD average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim and modernized interior tech.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Ridgeline and are shopping for the strongest current-market value, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is saving money and you still want the Ridgeline’s practical layout and comfort, the 2024 is the smarter budget-friendly alternative.
