Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearChicoutimi, QC

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 11.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 87 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

With its unibody construction, standard all-wheel drive, comfortable ride, and good handling, it suits you if you want a midsize pickup that is easier to live with day to day than many rivals. The trade-offs are limited towing capacity and less off-road capability than more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated.

20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s unibody construction and refined road manners point to a truck designed for everyday durability and easy ownership. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, with smooth, responsive performance and solid refinement. Honda’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre limited warranty and five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty also support confidence in ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its lower towing and off-road limits may not suit harder-duty truck use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition each bring different equipment levels. The base trim is the least feature-rich, while the TrailSport adds off-road-focused hardware and the Black Edition adds the most upscale touches.
• Powertrain: You get a single 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic, paired with standard AWD. It is smooth and responsive, but the Ridgeline is not built for heavy-duty towing or serious trail use.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: All models get a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless phone charging is standard, but the system’s age shows in the smaller screen and USB-A data port.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 11.5 L/100 km combined, with 12.8 city and 9.9 highway. TrailSport models are slightly less efficient at 11.6 L/100 km combined, with 12.8 city and 10.2 highway.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, the practical cabin layout, and the everyday comfort that defines the truck. It makes sense if you want the most affordable way into the model.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Ridgeline’s character with a bit more capability. It adds all-terrain tyres, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, making it the one to choose if you want the most rugged version without moving to the top trim.
• Black Edition: This is the most upscale choice, with navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, and rear USB-C ports. It suits you if you want the most features and the most polished presentation.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,856 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $51,343 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,834 CAD.

That price decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The Ridgeline’s practical design and strong everyday usability should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value comfort over traditional truck toughness. Its current pricing trend also gives you a clearer benchmark if you plan to sell later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four stars in rollover testing. It also earns a Good score in the updated side crash test from IIHS, along with Good in the original moderate front overlap test and Acceptable in the small overlap front test.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable omission, and the headlight rating is a Marginal result.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you get the latest version of this generation.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,673 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,343 CAD average.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim and interior updates that make the truck feel more modern.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the current-market version with strong availability and softer pricing than last year. If you are price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play because it delivers many of the same core strengths for less money.
