Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearWest Vancouver, BC

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 11.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 174 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.33/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

You’re looking at a minivan that remains comfortable, exceptionally practical, and enjoyable to drive, with plenty of cargo space and comfortable seats still central to its appeal. The trade-offs are clear, though: hybrid powertrain availability is absent, and the updated technology is described as only meeting minimum standards and expectations. It also falls behind rivals on value, which matters if you want the most modern family hauler for your money.

Only 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than especially generous.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, long-running family minivan with a straightforward 3.5-litre V6 and front-wheel drive, which supports its reputation for easy everyday use. The expert evaluation also describes it as comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive, while noting that Honda’s updated tech only meets minimum standards and expectations.

The performance commentary points to a tried-and-true powertrain and a natural driving feel, with responsive steering and braking and a compliant ride. On the cost side, the lack of a hybrid option means ownership costs will likely be higher than some rivals, and Honda does not offer AWD either.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this generation’s ageing technology and missing efficiency options may make it feel dated sooner than some alternatives.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: In Canada, the 2025 Odyssey comes in Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition trim levels. The entry Sport is slightly defeatured, while the Touring and Black Edition add front and rear parking sensors. You’ll want to compare equipment carefully because the base trim gives up some convenience features found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. There is no hybrid powertrain and no AWD option.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The 2025 model adds a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and USB-C charging ports. Wireless smartphone charging is offered on the top three grades.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says it should use 10.6 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the Odyssey’s core strengths at the lowest price. It gives you the family-friendly packaging and the updated tech basics, but it is the most stripped-back version in the range.
• Sport-L: This is the trim to focus on if you want the best balance of equipment and value. It builds on the Sport with a more appealing feature mix without jumping all the way to the pricier upper trims.
• Touring: This trim adds more convenience and comfort, including front and rear parking sensors, and it also brings the 11-speaker audio system mentioned in the expert evaluation. It suits you if you want a more premium-feeling family hauler.
• Black Edition: This is the most expensive trim and is best if you want the most fully equipped Odyssey. It adds the same parking sensors as Touring and sits at the top of the range for buyers who want maximum equipment.

The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 174 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.46% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,577 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $50,577 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,124 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Odyssey has become more affordable for used buyers, which can help if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, though, it also means you may face softer resale conditions than a year ago.

If the market stays at this level, you should expect buyers to be more price-sensitive than before. That makes condition, mileage, and trim equipment especially important if you want to protect your resale value.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns a “Poor” rating in a new IIHS evaluation, and it also performs well in other safety testing.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

The safety system generally operates smoothly and unobtrusively, but the lane-departure warning uses a subtle steering wheel wobble rather than a vibration, and the adaptive cruise control can brake too hard in heavier traffic. The poor IIHS result is the main caveat you should keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.46% compared with last year.
• The updated 7-inch digital driver display, 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and new rear-seat entertainment system matter to you.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Odyssey with the latest updates and you value the refreshed tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a cleaner listing with stronger equipment for less money.
