Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearNanaimo, BC

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 10.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 178 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It remains a comfortable, exceptionally practical minivan with plenty of cargo space and seats that suit family use well. Honda’s updates for 2025 add a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen, modern USB-C charging ports, an available smartphone charging pad, and a new rear-seat entertainment system.

The trade-offs are clear: the hybrid powertrain is unavailable, and the technology still feels behind the class. It also falls short on value for money, which matters if you want the most equipment for your budget.

With 31.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you may find some worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is built around a familiar V6-and-front-wheel-drive formula, and Honda’s long-running minivan approach still centres on comfort and practicality. The expert assessment also describes it as enjoyable to drive, which is a useful sign if you want a family vehicle that does not feel cumbersome.

Its 3.5-litre V6 and 10-speed automatic are presented as tried-and-true hardware, and the driving-assistance systems are described as operating smoothly and unobtrusively. Honda also keeps the cabin controls straightforward, which can help reduce day-to-day frustration.

You do not get a hybrid powertrain or all-wheel drive, so long-term ownership risk is more about accepting the Odyssey’s traditional setup than worrying about a complex electrified system.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: In Canada, the 2025 Odyssey comes in Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition trim levels. The base Sport is slightly defeatured, while the Touring and Black Edition add front and rear parking sensors.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic. There is no hybrid powertrain and no all-wheel-drive option.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The Odyssey uses a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also has a new 7-inch digital driver display, and wireless smartphone charging is offered on the top three grades.
• Fuel efficiency: According to Natural Resources Canada, the 2025 Odyssey should use 10.6 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it makes the Odyssey more accessible on price while still giving you the core family-friendly package. It is the trim to start with if you want the Odyssey’s practicality without paying for extras you may not need.
• Sport-L: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete equipment mix without jumping too far up the price ladder. It should suit you if you want a nicer day-to-day experience while staying sensible on budget.
• Touring: This trim adds more convenience and tech, including the 11-speaker audio system and front and rear parking sensors. It makes sense if you want a better-equipped family hauler and plan to spend lots of time in it.
• Black Edition: This is the most expensive trim and is for you if you want the fullest feature set in the lineup. It also gets the parking sensors, but you should only choose it if the extra equipment matters enough to justify the higher price.

The Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,568 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $50,745 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,649 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Odyssey has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers today. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher.

For a future seller, the main takeaway is that the Odyssey’s resale value is still being shaped by its strong family appeal, but also by its weaker value proposition versus newer rivals. If the market stays competitive, you should expect pricing pressure to remain unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or priced aggressively.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Odyssey earns a “Poor” rating in a new IIHS evaluation, and Honda’s minivan also performs well in other safety testing.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Black Edition trims add front and rear parking sensors.

The main caveat is that the new IIHS result is a notable weak point, so if safety is your top priority, you should weigh that carefully against the Odyssey’s otherwise broad standard driver-assistance coverage.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.
• Honda’s 2025 updates matter to you, including the new 7-inch digital driver display, updated 9-inch touchscreen, and rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the Odyssey with updated tech and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you can find a cleaner example with the equipment you want at a lower asking price.
