How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.33/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It remains a comfortable, exceptionally practical minivan that is enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space. The trade-offs are clear, though: its value for money is weak, its technology is still described as only meeting minimum standards and expectations, and it lacks both a hybrid powertrain and an all-wheel-drive option.

With 24.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, you may find worthwhile value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, well-sorted family minivan, but it also needs a redesign soon.

Its 3.5-litre V6 and 10-speed automatic are described as tried-and-true, and the van is praised for its natural driving experience, responsive steering and braking, and compliant ride. Honda’s safety and driver-assistance systems are also described as operating smoothly and unobtrusively.

Honda does not offer a hybrid powertrain or AWD here, which can matter for long-term ownership costs and flexibility. For used buyers, that means you should weigh the Odyssey’s strengths in comfort and drivability against the risk of higher running costs than some rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The trim walk starts with Sport and moves up through Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition. The entry trim is slightly defeatured, while the higher trims add more convenience and luxury equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. There is no hybrid powertrain or AWD option.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Black Edition add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The 2025 model adds a 9-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and USB-C charging ports. Wireless smartphone charging is offered on the top three grades.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2025 Odyssey is rated at 10.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Odyssey formula at the lowest price. It is the trim to consider if you want the core space, comfort, and drivability without paying for extras.
• Sport-L: This is the best-value trim if you want a more rounded ownership experience without jumping too far up the price ladder. It should suit you if you want a better-equipped family hauler while staying mindful of value.
• Touring: This trim adds more convenience and premium touches, and it also gets front and rear parking sensors. It makes sense if you want a more upscale daily driver and can live with the higher price.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim and the most expensive version. Choose it if you want the most fully equipped Odyssey and are willing to pay for it.

Touring and Black Edition add front and rear parking sensors.

• Inventory: There are 157 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.97% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter even more when it comes time to list.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.97% compared with last year.
• Honda’s 2025 updates matter to you, including the new 7-inch digital driver display, updated 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the Odyssey with its updated tech and you can find a well-priced example, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may deliver similar family-friendly practicality for less money, so it is worth comparing listings carefully before you commit.
